| Pursuant to California Public Utilities Code Section 130051.18 and MTA Administrative Code Chapter 5-25, all lobbyists, lobbyist employers, and lobbying firms that attempt to
influence MTA action are required to register with the MTA prior to the commencement of lobbying and in
any event no later than 10 days after qualifying as such an entity. For more information on lobbyist
registration and reporting requirements, please read the Lobbyist Manual. |
| To register as a lobbyist, lobbyist employer or lobbying firm, complete the following steps: |
| 1. |
Send an email to ethics@metro.net containing:
- Your name
- Your company name
- Your business address
- Your telephone number
- Your fax number
- Lobbyist type (e.g. individual lobbyist, lobbyist employer, lobbying firm)
Upon receipt of your email, the Ethics Department will email you your login ID and password. |

Login to the Lobbyist Online Filing System by entering your login ID and password. |
| 3. |
Complete the appropriate registration form (Form 1 for lobbyists, Form 2 for lobbying firms,
Form 3 for lobbyist employers). |

Upon submittal of your registration form, you will be sent a confirmation email containing a summary of the form. Print out a copy of this email, sign it, and mail it, with the applicable registration fee ($40 for lobbyists, $75 for lobbying firms and lobbyist employers), to the following address: |

Once you have submitted your online form and the Ethics Department has received your signed confirmation email and registration fee, your registration will be complete.
